Ambedkar International Social Reform Organization(AISRO) Canada(Pay back to society) ProgressReport of AISRO Canada We the greater Vancouver Ambedkarites were so sad to see atrocities in India against Dalits (the downtrodden native people) women and minorities and knew that these are happening because these classes of society are very poor and uneducated and boycotted socially, politically and economically by upper classes. They are suffered from discrimination based on caste. So we decided to do something by spreading education and social awareness among these weaker classes of Indian society. We got a chance to celebrate Dr. Ambedkar’s 125th birthday at United Nation’s head office New York in April 2015 and there a decision was made to form an organization to work for the betterment of these classes. In 2015 and 2016 there were many meetings and discussion was arranged between our team and other like-minded organization. 2016 1. On, June 22, 2016, finally a meeting was arranged at 7414 - 138 Street Surrey and an organization was formed named “Ambedkar International Social Reform Organization (AISRO) Canada” 2. On, July 01, 2016, Aisro Canada organized its inauguration and Canada Day celebration at Deasland Park, Delta, British Columbia and distribute free foods and spread harmony among Dalit and other communities to eliminate discrimination based on caste, color or creed. 3. On, August 15, 2016, AISRO Canada celebrated Indian Independence Day at 7271 Gilley 3. Avenue Burnaby (Shri Guru Ravidass Temple) Chief Guest was Mr. N. Ningi Chatti from Consulate General of India, Vancouver and the main speaker was Zile Singh ex-ambassador Govt. of India. The subject was: “The contributions of Dalit freedom fighters in Indian freedom” who were ignored so far by the upper caste? 4. On September 15, 2016, AISRO Canada formed a sub-branch in the state of Punjab, India. On, Nov. 15, 2016, Meeting at 14672 – 85 Avenue Surrey BC with Swami Gurdip Giri President Swami Jagat Giri Charitable Trust Pathankot India and promised to give a donation to build a classroom at his Begumpura Renaissance University Pathankot India. 5. On, Dec. 11, 2016 Aisro Canada paid tribute to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 60th death anniversary at 7271 Gilley Avenue Burnaby B.C. jointly with Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha Vancouver. 6. On, Dec. 25, 2016, Aisro Canada organized 1st conference at #126 – 7536/ 130 street Surrey. Subject to the debate was “Social Reformation in India – How International Dalit Organizations can contribute. Chief Guest was Dr. Sandeep Mehmi Assistant Registrar Punjab Technical University Jalandhar Punjab, India. 2017 7. On Jan. 25, 2017 AISRO Canada organized a meeting at Jalandhar, Punjab India with the local Ambedkarites and discussed with on Dalit problems and solutions. 8. On Jan. 26, 2017 AISRO Canada Celebrated Indian Republic Day at Workers Club Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, Punjab, India with Ambekar Association of Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala India. 9. On Jan. 27, 2017 Aisro Canada donated an amount of Rupees 200000 ($4000) to Surinder Sandhu at Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. 10. On Jan. 28, 2017 AISRO Canada donated an amount of Rupees 5000 ($100) to Mr. Bagri at Jandialla, Jalandhar, Punjab. For his struggle towards Dalits in Punjab. 11. From Jan. 26, 2017 to Feb. 27, 2017 Team of AISRO Canada visited various villages of Punjab Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi State to spread social awareness. Many meetings and seminars were arranged with people and small organizations. 12. On Feb. 3, 2017, AISRO Canada donated an amount of Rupees 10000 ($200) Swami Surinder Nath saint of Shri Guru Ravidass Temple Khuralgarh Punjab for his school which runs for poor students. 13. On Feb. 05, 2017, AISRO Canada team visited Begumpura Renaissance University Pathankot, Punjab India and donated 315000 Rupees ($6300) to Swami Gurdip Giri to build a classroom in the university as promised on Nov. 15, 2016, at Surrey BC. 14. On Feb. 05, 2017, AISRO Canada released cd’s of Surjit Sunny and Rani Armaan those were recorded for social reformation at Pathankot, in India. 15. On Feb. 17, 2017, AISRO Canada organized 2nd conference at Worker Club Railway Coach Factory Kapurthala, Punjab, India for social awareness among Dalits of India the subject was “Social Reformation in India – How International Dalit Organizations can contribute”. Chief Guest was Janak Raj Chauhan Founder of Speed N.G.O. Guest Speakers were Ram Lubhaya Jassi Additional Director General of Police Jammu & Kashmir and Munshi Ram Sallan Asst. Director of C.I.S.T. 16. On Feb. 21, 2017, AISRO Canada visited Uthan Coaching Centre Raisinghnagar Rajasthan (a centre who provides free coaching classes for poor students) India and donated 60000 Rupees ($1200) for the computer lab. 17. On Feb. 26, 2017, AISRO Canada organized 3rd Conference at B. R. Ambedkar Bhawan N.F.L. Township Panipat, Hariyana, India for social awareness. Chief The guest was Dr. Jagjiwan Ram G.Z.D. Income Tax department of India and Guest speakers were Dr. Dalbir Bharti Retired Inspector General Police (IPS) Maharastra India and a famous social activist too and M.S. Kharkar. The subject of debate was “Social Reformation in India – How International Dalit Organizations can contribute” 18. On, Feb. 27, 2017, AISRO Canada honored with amount of Rupees 10000 ($200) to the best players who won the one of best tournament of Haryana state in India. 19. On, Feb. 27, 2017, AISRO Canada distributed free foods at Panipat, Haryana, India. 20. On Feb. 27, 2017, AISRO Canada organized a meeting with a delegation of SC/ST LIC Employees Welfare Association New Delhi and discussed Dalits atrocities and social awareness and promised to work together for the betterment of Dalits. 21. On Feb. 27, 2017, AISRO Canada organized a meeting with a delegate of Bharat Nirman Sangh at Railway Guest House Delhi Cantt New Delhi discussed Dalits issues in India. 22. On Feb. 27, 2017, AISRO Canada organized a meeting with Dr. Udit Raj Member Parliament India Government and discussed in increasing of Dalits atrocities in India and requested to work together with other Dalit leaders in India. 23. On Feb. 27, 2017, AISRO Canada organized a meeting with Honorable Ram Vilas Paswan Minister (Food and Supply) Govt of India and discussed on the Dalits atrocities their rights and reservations in India. 24. On March 10, 2017. AISRO Canada organized 4th Conference at Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir Jandialla, Punjab for social awareness. Chief Guest was Mr. D.D. Kalyani President of Bharat Nirman Sangh New Delhi and subject for debate was ” Social Reformation in India – How International Dalit Organizations can contribute”. Free foods distributed. 25. On March 10, 2017, AISRO Canada provided Rupees 40000 ($800) to Raman deep Kaur a poor student for her higher education at Sangrur, Punjab, India. 26. On March 25, 2017, AISRO Canada supported financially to Kulwant Singh Tibba at Sangrur, Punjab for his T.V. channel, where he will keep continue his shows for social awareness. 27. On Mar. 31, 2017. AISRO Canada helped financially with the number of Rupees 100000 ($2000) to poor families to arrange the marriage of their daughters. 28. On April 14, 2017, AISRO Canada Celebrated Dr. Ambedkar’s 126 birthday at 12921 - 92 A Avenue Surrey BC. 29. On April 14, 2017, AISRO Canada’s India unit celebrated 126thbirthday of Dr. Ambedkar at Parliament House New Delhi and distributed free books and literature related dr. Ambedkar life and struggle. 30. On April 24, 2017, AISRO Canada organized a meeting with Mr. Rajvinder Singh Advocate and Human Rights Activist Chandigarh India on his Canada visit at Langley Banquet Hall Langley and discussed on violation of Dalit, women and minorities human rights in India. 31. Dec. 06, 2017 AISRO Canada donated an amount of Rupees 100000 ($2000) for Sahib Kanshi Ram Education Bhawan Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Kanshi Ram a Dalit icon who dedicated his whole life for the betterment of Dalits (downtrodden people of India) and formed B.S.P. for 85% people of India. 32. On Dec. 22, 2017, AISRO Canada organized a meeting with Prof. Vivek Kumar of Jawahar Lal Nehru University New Delhi at Tanduri Raja Restaurant Surrey and discussed on Dalits problems in India. 33. On Dec. 25, 2017, AISRO Canada celebrated Christmas and threw a party at Khanna Banquet Hall Surrey. 2018 34. On Jan 8, 2018, AISRO Canada provided an amount of Rupees 25000 ($500) to Shaddi Ram Raghupati a poor students of Telangana state for higher education. 35. On January 09, 2018. AISRO Canada organized a protest against Dalit atrocity occurred at Pune Maharastra India at Holland Park Surrey BC. 36. On March 24, 2018, AISRO Canada helped poor students with new school uniforms, books, fees and scholarships of the high schools of Panipat, Safido, Gharonda, and Kurukshetra in the Hariyana state of India. 37. On April 01, 2018, AISRO Canada organized a protest against the dilution of SC/ST Act 1989 in India, at Holland Park Surrey BC. 38. On April 02, 2018, AISRO Canada’s India branch distributed free food packets among protesters of Bharat Band at various places in New Delhi. 39. On April 07, 2018, AISRO Canada raised fund to help people who were killed by so-called upper caste extremist in Bharat Band (a protest for rights in India) on April 2, 2018. Fund was raised at the annual Nagar Kirtan Parade in the honors of Shri Guru Ravidass’s birthday celebration in Burnaby BC. Books of “Jaat Paat Ka Beej Naas” (annihilation of caste”) were distributed free to spread awareness in Ravidassia Community. 40. On April 14, 2018, AISRO Canada’s India branch celebrated Dr. Ambedkar’s birthday at the parliament house New Delhi, free books were distributed for social awareness. 41. On April 14, 2018, AISRO Canada garlanded the bust of Dr. Ambedkar at Simon Fraser University Burnaby. 42. On April 26, 2018, AISRO Canada welcomed K. P. Chaudhary General Secretary All India Federation of SC/ST Organizations New Delhi at Vancouver Airport. 43. May 05, 2018, organized a Protest at Khanna Banquet Hall ground, Surrey BC. against the killing of Jaswant Singh a Dalit boy by Shiv Sena at Phagwara, Punjab, India 44. On May 5, 2018, AISRO Canada organized 5th conference in the honour of 127th birthday anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar on the subject of “The atrocities in India against Dalits, Women and Minorities are increasing– What are the reasons and solutions” at Khanna Banquet Surrey. Chief Guest was K. P. Chaudhary General Secretary All India Federation of SC/ST Organizations New Delhi Special The guest was Randeep Sarai Member Parliament Government of Canada. Guest Speaker was Hardev Sahai International advisor Begumpura Cultural Society New York USA. 45. On May 05, 2018, a Resolution related to rights and atrocities of Indian Dalits were passed by majority people at AISRO Canada’s 5th Conference also, this resolution was given to Randeep Sarai Member Parliament of Canada. 46. On May 26, 2018, AISRO Canada organized a Shaheedi Divas to pay tribute to Sant Ramanand Ji who sacrificed his life for the betterment of Dalits of India and killed at Vienna Italy on May 25th, 2009 by extremists. 47. On June 10, 2018, AISRO Canada arranged a dinner party for all ex and the present president of Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha Vancouver to bring them together and eliminate all differences for the betterment of Ravidassia Community and was successful to bring the community together in Desi junction Restaurant Surrey. 48. On July 22, 2018, AISRO Canada elected a new executive committee at Surrey Public Library, Surrey. 49. On Aug. 01, 2018, AISRO Canada arranged a meeting at 12186 – 97 A Avenue Surrey with Swami Gurdip Giri who established Begumpura Renaissance University Pathankot, India to educate poor students, AISRO Canada donated $ 500 for this noble cause also Aisro Canada already donated $6300 to build a classroom in this university in 2017. 50. On August 2, 2018, AISRO Canada donated an amount of Rupees 25000 ($500) to the victim family of Jaswant Singh at Phagwara, Punjab, India who was killed by Shiv Sena a religious extremist group. 51. On August 19, 2018, AISRO Canada organized a protest against the burning the incident of the Indian constitution at parliament street New Delhi, India. 52. On September 9, 2018, AISRO Canada’s coordinator, B.S. Azad visited Gwalior Madhya Parades and met to the victim families of Bharat bandh whose members were killed by the so-called upper caste people. 53. On September 20, AISRO Canada re-sent an amount of Rupees 75000 ($1500) to the families of young boys who were killed by upper caste people on April 02, 2018, Bharat Bandh? 54. AISRO Canada arranged a program to pay tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar (Sardhaji) in the Canadian Parliament for the first time in history. The honorable Harjit Singh Sajjan Defense Minister, Sardar Sandip Singh Sarai of Surrey, Sukh Dhaliwal of Surrey, Ruby Dhillon, Navdeep Bains of Brampton, and many other Members of Parliaments participated in paying tribute to our globalized leader Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. High Commissioner Representative of the Indian Embassy was especially present in the event and addressed Baba Sahib’s achievements which were for the greater good of India. Globally, Ambedkrite peoples attended the program to celebrate our great leader Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Mr. K.P. Chaudhary Secretary of all India Federation of SC/ST Organizations, New Delhi, Dr. Sandip Mehmi Assistant Registrar Punjab Technical University of Jalandhar Punjab, India represented as the main guest speakers and globalize participant as Mr. Hardev Sahai, Engineer Jagdish Badhan Punjab, Dharam Paul Haryana, Sawaran Singh Sagoo president of AISRO Punjab, Members of Shiri Guru Ravidas Sabha Montreal, New York and Vancouver, Mr. Narinder Khera King Star Punjabi Media, Sonu Ambedkar, Ajit lear, Amarjit lehal and his wife, Harbhajan Mehay, Paramjit Lakha and Raoulia, Komal Paul,Atual Paul ,Jag Barpagha.These achievements of AISRO Canada was successful in promoting the name of Baba Sahib Ambedkar’s philosophy as one of many global leaders. 55. First-time AISRO Canada sponsored eighteen Ambedkrite peoples from India, where seven of those people were approved for visitor visa to Canada and they all returned to India after attending the program. 56. AISRO Canada management team tries to work the community issues of Shiri Guru Ravidas Gurdwara managements to build the new Gurdwara in Montreal. 2019. 57. April 11, 2019 AISRO Canada participated in Shiri Guru Ravidass Nagar Kirtan, Burnaby BC. A stage was organized for political social awareness for Bahujan Peoples to cast their vote to the party who looks after the welfare of the Bahujan peoples in Punjab assembly election. Numbers of the book: “Annihilation of Caste” written by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was provided to Bahujan peoples, free of cost. 58. August 10, 2019 numerous meetings of AISRO Canada were organized by management to solve the problem of some members and finally, the executive committee dissolved and members elected a new executive committee under the presidency of Mr. Rashpal Singh Bhardwaj on August 10, 2019. 59. Augast 18, 2019. AISRO Canada organized a protest against the demolished old Historical Temple in Tuglkawad, New Delhi. A memorandum was given on Sep 05, 2019 to Honourable Justin Trudeau Prime Minister of Canada through Sukh Dhaliwal Member of parliament in Surrey B.C. 60. Oct 27, 2019. AISRO Canada participated in the New York protest under the Indian National Leader Dr. Rajratan Ambedkar with the support of Shiri Guru Ravidass Sabha (New York), against Indian Prime Minister Narinder Modi and his government. Since his regime, atrocities on Dalits increased every day and demolished the Shiri Guru Ravidas Temple in Tuglkawad, NewDelhi. 61. A meeting with many believers of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s philosophy was held to purpose and create a global organization to help Dalit atrocities in India. The organization was created by the name of “United Ambedkrites Organization” under the presidency of Mrs. Chanchal Mall. 62. Dec 26, 2019. AISRO Canada Management arranges community Christmas party in Khanna Banquet Hall, Surrey BC, Canada. Management gave a Social Awareness Award to Mr. Mandip Singh Nagra, City of Surrey Counselor as well as paid respects to our elderly women. 63. AISRO Canada Management protest against Khalistan Peoples who try to burn the Indian Constitution in front of Indian consulate office. 64. AISRO Canada Management celebrated the 129th Birthday of Dr. Ambedkar in their homes on Social Media (zoom App) due to COVID-19. AISRO Canada 2020
